Joy Hastings

Welcome to Joy Ministry Hastings. We have been here since 1995 and enjoy a large group of people coming along to our services.
Our main goal is to minister the love of God to people with disabilities and to have spiritual input into their lives, which many of them don’t have anywhere else.
We keep things simple with the ministry and allow God to do the rest – it has been wonderful to see His hand working in and through us all.
Our meetings have a time for praise and worship, everyone is encouraged to participate whatever their gifting – we have hand held instruments for those who wish to use them. We then have a time of sharing together, its often a great time for people to be able to tell others about what God has been doing in their lives. We often have a visiting speaker or do crafts or even a skit – it is a wonderful time of fellowship enjoyed by everyone together. Finally, that all important afternoon tea – it is lovely for everyone, including the caregivers to relax and enjoy a cuppa and a biscuit together.
