CMWDT Auckland : Encourager 105

( November 2004 )

What's here :
First things first :
News from earth :

First things first -

God

Prayers
For those who have been in hospital -
Please remember to pray for their full recovery.
  Thanks for answered prayer :
Thank You, Father, for continuing to answer prayer.
Bless You and praise Your holy name.

PRAYER CHAIN

The Prayer Chain continues to be available to all CFFD people. Please phone Jean Fergusson.

God hears and answers prayer. It is up to us to tell Him of our needs.

Inspirational thoughts
  Something to think about :

Watching the skyrockets this year, I noticed they all look alike until they burst into their different colours.
To other people, we can look the same until they get close to us and see us as we are.

News from earth, August 2004

Auckland Committee
A Note from the Auckland Committee.
This year has flown fast and it's been a great one. It has been the focus on bringing people's giftings and giving them opportunities to express them at the various events and camps we've had throughout the year. J4J is especially doing well with their new worship team and have still two more functions to play at before Christmas. The team has just acquired more microphones and stands, so that we can now hear all of the singers' voices. Wow CD yet!!!

Everyone loves to go to the National Camp at Totara Springs at Labour weekend, but did you know that that is not the only thing that's on throughout the year ? There is also an Auckland camp held at Carey Park, Henderson, in May, and we are always wanting helpers there too. Don't just wait for Labour weekend ! Carey Park is more intimate and has more free time to get to know one another. So please consider the Auckland one too - they are just as much fun.

It is also great to have new people that are so willing to help with the afternoon teas and clean-up at our events and we especially want to thank the Pakuranga Christian Fellowship for their servant's heart.

The Committee wish you all a wonderful Christmas - wonder where the year went to ? Look forward to seeing you at future events in 2005. God Bless !

Someone special -
Hi, My name is Margaret Davis and I am 33 years old. At the moment I am living with my parents. I love cooking and working on my computer and am a great animal lover. I also exercise a lot. I go to St Andrews in Birkenhead and am in the church choir.

I heard about CFFD through Di and Marg Alden and they invited me to come to the Drop-in Centre, which I love. I come on the Tuesday and enjoy the company and fellowship.
