Psalm 91 is one of my favourite passages. God says He promises to protect us and to give us rest, IF we make Him our dwelling place. It is only when we give ourselves to Him fully that God can fulfil that contract. At times we all feel weary when we are overdoing it, when we aren't well or when difficulties arise, and then we can become vulnerable emotionally and spiritually. Rather than allow anger, depression or stress to take over, God says in v 11 that "He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." God does not want us to deal this on our own so He'll bring us personal angels. Great eh!
We had a wonderful evening at the Stardome - discovering the complexities of Saturn and its rings. Fascinating stuff when you marvel at God's creation. Pizzas and fellowship was a great way to mix and mingle afterwards and it was good to meet new people.

Auckland Committee
The committee has had some wonderful prayer times. The importance of listening to the Holy Spirit for guidance is essential to CFFD. One of our aims is to also listen to you and if you have any suggestions of what you would like to see happen for this ministry, make it known to us - OK !
We now have a CFFD emailing address : CFFD@kol.co.nz. Note - this address goes to Jean Griffiths, not to CMWDT.

PROFILE
Hello ! My name is Mandy Lee, and I have got Cerebral Palsy. I will be 34 years old in September.
I gave my life to God at the old C.M.W.D.T. Centre on the toilet.
God puts people in our pathways, to encourage them. I felt God's spirit telling me I had to show love and care to this person. I thought, "No way God", and then he kept on reminding me until I said, "OK, God - I give up - how do I do it ?". Because she spoke very little English, it was hard, but it is amazing how God really helps us if we put our trust in Him.
God shows us to be kind and caring in His own way, and because of that we are the closest of friends now. I go to Harbourside church with of my flatmates.
It is amazing the people that God puts in your path. You have got no idea what He is doing at the time.
